The Watcher

The Watcher

Desert sycamores trees are ghostly by moonlight – the color of bone or sun-bleached deer antlers. This creature, related to the sycamores, constantly shifts his shape between tree, deer, owl and man - moving through the medium of moonlight as birds through air and fish through water.

Oil paint on board, 12 x 16.
